I had a frightening experience recently when a key hard drive stopped functioning and I was unable to access the data for a specialized imaging unit. The hardware provider was supposed to back up this drive to my server and cloud but apparently failed to do so. I was in a terrible situation. I called several hard drive recovery companies and they advised me the drive would have to be shipped out of state and would cost thousands of dollars to recover the data. When I called Vin at Geek Force, he asked me a few questions to assess my dire situation.
